The main job is Starting Workout and staying consistent. workouts play an essential role in the overall health and fitness of the body. Exercises not only help in weight management but also are beneficial for maintaining overall well-being by boosting your self-confidence, improving sleep patterns, strengthening the immune system, and lowering the stress levels.

Getting Started

According to research, 90% of the people start the workout with a hope that they would achieve their goal in just a few weeks. But it’s not a practical approach at all as right after a few weeks when they don’t achieve their goal they assume it’s not working so they quit very soon.

Always remember that in order to get started you need to set realistic and easily achievable goals. In workouts, the key to success is consistency. Start with a very simple activity but do it regularly with no lazy breaks. And remember that miracle is not going to happen overnight and it will take time to make your workout a permanent part of your life.

Moreover, try to rejuvenate yourself by exercising outside. fresh air and nature have its charm and several undeniable benefits. Here are a few simple and easy-to-continue workouts to begin with.

Jogging

Jogging is one of the most active ways to increase stamina and get your body ready for some more action. Start with 20 minutes a day and increase the time gradually. Jogging involves head to toe movement which increases the blood circulations and keeps you active and energetic.

Cycling

Another enjoyable yet beneficial activity is Cycling. To reap the most out of this exercise, find an incessant path and keep pedaling for 20 minutes. You may increase the time later. Pedaling will not only shape your legs but give them strength and make you more agile and swift.

Basic Yoga

Yoga workout also helps in relaxing and increasing stability, balance, and flexibility. Perform standing cat stretch, hanging cat stretch, spine twist, modified triangle, warrior, and sun salutations. Try these moves at least once and if you have time you may also perform repetitions.


Yoga is all about mindfulness and concentration. Be focused and once you are comfortable with the poses, increase their time and reps and see them make a difference.

Meditation

Meditation is also one of the great exercises to achieve balance in life. You may get started with basic meditation and learn the balancing technique in the start and grow from there.

Cardio with Machines

If you think machines can help you achieve your goals, go for it. You may choose a treadmill, ski machine, stair-stepper, or a rowing machine to begin with your cardio at the gym. Set the machine to manual and fix the speed, incline, and resistance to slightly more than your warm-up session.

Perform the first session of about five minutes at the baseline and then increase the resistance and incline at the same speed. Gradually increase the speed in combination with the resistance and incline and test your limits. Make sure you go back to the baseline for 2 minutes before taking a break or ending the cardio session. Try other specific exercises as soon as your body adjusts with the cardio.

Total Body Strength Moves

If you have never tried dumbbells, begin with light-medium weights and increase the load gradually. Begin with 1 set of 12 reps and then perform assisted lunges, lateral raises wall push-ups, or Bird dog pose. Each of these exercises can be started with 1 set of 12 reps each. These basic workouts will strengthen your body and prepare you for the harder workouts.

Starting a workout is easy but sticking to it is difficult. The primary goal of beginners should be to keep themselves motivated to follow what they just decided. To make sure this happens, do not go for too advanced routines at the start. Start with the basics and increase the difficulty level gradually.
